Video editing: Flor de Toloache live-streamed concert, February 2020 (Password: wildcats)

Flor de Toloache was supposed to perform in-person at Weber State University, but had to move their concert to the digital sphere due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each of the four musicians sent me video of them performing the songs in their homes, then I synced their footage and edited everything together into a cohesive 45-minute concert. I created the motion graphics as well, including the introductions and lower third titles. I oversaw the marketing for this event and we had over 17,000 views across multiple distribution platforms.

Video Filming & Editing: Orchesis Dance Theatre, Fall 2020 (password: wildcats)

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Weber State’s performing arts events pivoted to the digital sphere for fall of 2020. I made video introductions for several of the events to air before the streamed performances. Above is an example of one I made for Orchesis Dance Theatre - I filmed the interviews and b-roll footage, then edited the short video together. The intro is from 0:00:08 to 0:02:08 in the above link.

Mini documentary created for The Improvables. I shot and edited this feature.

A preview of Davis Education Foundation's 2020 Spring Gala. I edited public domain footage from old movies to create this.

Facebook Live video from the press tent at the Inauguration of Donald Trump. This video in particular was picked up by ABC News and used in their Inauguration coverage.

I played a key role in the launch of “The Movie Show Matinee,” a weekly show hosted on Facebook Live. Each week, I pitched topics to Doug and Steve, researched titles to fit the theme, set-up technical aspects and handled the contest element.
